D&K Enterprises has been set up to bring innovative solutions to the consumer. Their Easipod gives many industries the opportunity to sell individual portions in a pack with an integral spreader. This great new pack can be used to spread any soft substance. The possibilities for use are endless. Three obvious uses are in foods, cosmetics and DIY products but there are many more applications. It can be any portion size and could come in multipack options. It is disposable, hygienic and time-saving.
The Easipod can be thermoformed and sealed using a reel fed machine or for a smaller business the packs can be pre-made by a specialist vacuum former and then filled and sealed using a tray sealer. The packs can be gas flushed if required, using this system.
